Changing blogs!
Sorry for the silence! I’m alive and well, if @corvuscorona‘s blog serves as any indication. Somehow, keeping up-to-date here has always been difficult for me in the winter months, but I’ve been living happily with my beautiful girlfriend, my wonderful dog, and my shiny new playstation. Can you believe it’s been four months since I last picked up a pen? Wild! I may have also had to wipe a fine layer of dust off my laptop…shameful.
Anyway, one big thing that has been keeping me away from tumblr is the fact that I’m just so weary of the blogs I have now, the fact that i keep art and personal posts separate, and the feeling of obligation that I have towards a lot of my followers- that I have to curate my posts in ways that they would like, rather than what I want. That’s not really true, I know, but it’s felt that way for a long time and I could use a change.
Not too much of a change though! You’ll note that I’ve adjusted my URL. PMcrunchwrap is just too good to let die. This time though, I’ll be keeping everything contained in just one blog rather than multiple ones. This has only ever been a hobby for me, and I just want to socialize with friends and talk about anime and cool plants and art!
That’s all I really have to say. I missed everyone a lot and I hope we can continue being friends!

i cant Believe that doctor scraggydooper movie from marvel made a enough money to be considered a success & got ok reviews but i haven’t seen a single gifset about it since it came out. not a single character, ship, quip, costume, etc. gifset or even a picspam. And by “i cant believe” i also mean “i am grateful” thanks everyone

one thing I love about Yuri on Ice is how filled with… positivity it is. Because they all make mistakes, they all aren’t perfect, yet they all go on, and find happiness. The writers didn’t delve in overused angst tropes that hurt the character needleslly and I think that’s great?
JJ doesn’t win yet he’s loved and supported by his family and girlfriend, and it’s important even if he was kind of a jerk. Because whe you’re the “best one”, you’ve got so much more pressure to keep being the best, and you’re always afraid to fail and disappoint everyone. Here they showed that if you fail it doesn’t mean that people won’t love you.
Yurio wins the gold medal, but his resolve is to beat Yuri, because winning doesn’t mean having reached the end, but only another milestone. And he’s so mature to know that.
Yuri fails again to win the gold, but this time he doesn’t let himself feel down. He wanted that gold medal for himself and Victor, but you see him beaming on the podium anyway. Because he now knows it’s only a matter of time before he can have it.
Not to mention the relationship between Yuri and Victor, that’s so mature and supporting and respectful and where do you even see that in media? I know it would have been much better if they showed a kiss or explicitly said the three words for a number of reasons, but this felt real, tangible. They showed a love so believable it didn’t need to be stressed.
And these are only the things that come to my mind about this last episode. And I mean, it doesn’t mean that life it’s like that, there are always struggles, but the point is that you can tackle those struggles and overcome them I think? Even if you need to take one year to think about it. Maybe it can give you more perspective to make a better choice later.
And tbh I don’t know where I was going with this post, I’m just glad Yuri on Ice exists.

this website pisses me off, everyones always like “space is so cool!” not its not, space is bullshit and i hate everything about it, i genuinely just saw the phrase “a black hole with a mass two billion times the mass of the sun” im so pissed off, shut the fuck up, dont patronise me scientists you know i dont know what the fuck that means, my sad little brain cant comprehend the mass of one sun let alone two fucking billion, i cant even count past 10 without getting confused and youre out here talking about the mass of two billion fucking suns, shut the hell up. and dont even get me started about black holes or the expansion of the universe because thats another two seperate rants entierly. oh and apparently theres a planet made of ice except the ice is also on fire??? yeah sure fucking thing, scientists. and this is just the shit i know about. i purposely dont research space because it pisses me off so much, god knows what other fucking bullshit exists out there that ive yet to read a fucking wikipedia article about. i dont think space is real, literally everything about space is so fucking fake, this is just some elaborate fucking practicle joke. two billion times the mass of the sun, fuck you
